• Two Hour Introductory Classes
Join us for an introductory evening of relaxing your body, opening your energy, and clearing your mind….all via the breath! Staying with your breath is an act of meditation, which allows you to transcend habitual thought patterns down to the core. Expanding relaxation and awareness is the result. In this session, you will be skillfully guided into a sacred, creative moment of opening to the depths of your own nature by skillful use of breath. Come discover your next step on a new path of awakening, and expand your view!
• Breathing Day Intensives (for going deeper)
You will learn more about the techniques and practice of breath, and sharpen you awareness in observing your own unique breath pattern, learn what it means, and practice how to skillfully transform it. The day includes two full breath sessions, an individual breathing analysis, and a deeper introduction to the process of self-healing via the breath! Specific themes may be explored in these day-longs in order to ‘breath’ on them.
• The Healing Breath (for healing practitioners)
Professionals in the healing arts are often aware of restricted breathing patterns in themselves and their clients, but often do not have a deep understanding of these patterns, what they mean, and how to transform them.
This day will be an introduction to understanding, experiencing, and applying a variety of breath techniques which are the “master key” to self healing. You will learn how breath relates to stress and many physical ailments, emotional holding and trauma, and how releasing via the breath allows the unwinding of body and mind. Expanding relaxation, awareness, and healing is the result.
• Beyond Stress! Being Wise in a Stress-filled World
All of our stress arises from our own decisions about the world; how we interpret, visualize, speak, and think about it.
In this session, you will be guided into simple tools for understanding the causes of stress in our thinking, and tune into your body where stress is stored. Staying with your breath through gentle movements, yoga postures, and sitting, is an active meditation that allows you to unwind body and mind. Expanding relaxation, and awareness is the result.
• Retreats of 2-4 days
Join us on an extraordinary journey of accessing your deep subconscious, your highest clarity and your innate joy. Using the vehicles of inquiry, breath, energy and meditation, you can re-invent a new reality for yourself. • The Buddha Path – Classes on the Basics of Meditation
Tracey and Dave are both long- time students of Buddhism, and in 2008 completed a six month internship/retreat under the guidance of Tibetan master Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. Now as student teachers, they are dedicated to sharing what they’ve learned, and provide an introduction to the practice manual, The Buddha Path, written for westerners by Khenpo Choga.
Two hour introductory teaching. (By Dave) Making the Most of Your Precious Human Life: The Practical Basics of Buddhist Teachings.
In this session we will cover some of the 16 fundamental principles of Buddhist wisdom, correct mis-perceptions, answer questions, and practice contemplation and meditation. No prior experience required. These teachings will be based upon the Dzogchen Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, as transmitted by my teacher, His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche.
